WHO I AM

You ask me who I am, so I tell you what I believe.

You say my actions don’t always match my beliefs, so I guess who I am is hard to perceive.

You see there’s the me I want to be, then there’s the me that you see.

I walk a believer among sinners, but more often than not that line couldn’t be any thinner.

I tell myself it’s just a victimless crime, and keep slowly sinking over time.

I look at criminals and think I’d never do something so evil, but the Bible says that all sins are equal.

So to answer your question, I guess the verdicts still out, but when I stand before GOD there wont be a doubt.

You see my nature is wicked and my sins are obscene,  yet Jesus gave his life so my heart could be clean.

I gave him my heart to use as he sees fit, all of me will be changed, every last bit.

Since I can’t answer your question I’ll defer to someone who can, Jesus please show them, WHO, I, AM.
